Rich Douma began his career in 1987 with PaineWebber as a financial analyst. For the next 20 years he developed a career that included consulting to financial institutions and developing world-class advanced information systems for financial services companies.
From 2006 to 2008 Rich was a consultant at UBS, working just off the trading floor in New York. He witnessed the seizure of the credit markets that triggered the financial meltdown resulting in what we now know as the Great Recession. After nearly two decades of improving the financial health of financial companies, Rich knew it was time to shift his focus to help his friends and family. So, in 2008 Rich changed gears and shifted his financial services into a new direction. Becoming a financial advisor would allow Rich to shift his focus to individuals, families and small business owners who seek to improve their over-all financial health, meet educational and other financial goals, and prepare for retirement.
As an independent advisor, Rich offers unbiased financial planning, investment advisory, and insurance agent services for life, disability and long-term care coverage. Financial planning and investment advisory services are offered through Endeavor Financial Advisors, LLC, a state registered investment advisory firm. After stints with MetLife and LPL Financial, Rich formed Endeavor Financial Advisory Services to bring greater independence and objectivity to how clients are served.
Education & Certification: Rich is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University where he received a bachelor of science in finance with minors in business law and economics.
